Three Reviews for the Price of One

Three Reviews for the Price of One: "Clooney was excellent and Bullock was ok, she did surprise me a bit. What the film does well is level of tension and emotion was palpable. Be warned there are a few sort of cheesy lines but forgivable. Well worth seeing in the cinema rather then at home. 9/10"

Three Reviews for the Price of One

Three Reviews for the Price of One: "I've just re-watched the first on DVD and, on reflection, it's actually fairly boring. This is much better though. All the things I was looking forward to seeing were in there, and I loved the 'extra' scenes scrounged from Silmarilion and Unfinished Tails, such as Gandalfs face-off with Sauron"

Falcon program takes off

Falcon program takes off: "He said the falconer was on the Island four days a week, flying his birds day and night.
“There haven’t been as many (seagulls) at night,” Hoefs said.
He said the seagulls don’t like the presence of the falcons, their natural predators, and eventually go away.
“It’s a long process,” Hoefs said.
According to Hoefs, one mainland resort had a huge seagull problem—as many as 6,000 or 7,000 seagulls were flocking to the resort. "

Bernhard Goetz - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bernhard Goetz - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "Goetz fired an unlicensed revolver five times, seriously wounding all four. He was dubbed the "Subway Vigilante" by the New York press, and was both praised and vilified in the media and in public opinion.
He surrendered to police nine days later and was eventually charged with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and several firearms offenses. A jury found him not guilty of all charges except an illegal firearms possession count, for which he served two-thirds of a one-year sentence."

How many books do you have to sell to be a bestseller? : Jeffrey Krames

How many books do you have to sell to be a bestseller? : Jeffrey Krames: " The New York Times Non-Fiction printed list, it isn’t how many copies you have to sell, it is how many copies you have to sell within a given period of time—vs. all the other bestsellers—in this case a single week. Every so often a book seems to come from nowhere and leaps to the #1 spot on Amazon.com and The New York Times."
